Salary range: £25-£30k
Our client is a major player in ornamental horticulture and is clearly established in the UK with strong relationships with all of their customers. They are looking to appoint a Junior account Manager to learn the business and help handle some of their largest accounts.
Reporting in to the General Manager, you could be a recent graduate or someone who has been working within sales and wants to develop their career. They are looking for people who have good organisational skills, good communication skills and someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone to talk to customers to develop business and themselves.
They are looking for someone with personality, commercial acumen and flair who they can train and develop in to being the best in the industry. The role is wide and varied as you will be tasked with fully supporting the commercial team in the daily dealings with the customers helping deliver the sales and profit plan.
You will be helping to handle the day to day contact and liaison with customers as well as helping them developing a business development strategy to fully exploit all the opportunities available.
Horticultural knowledge would be a distinct advantage but enthusiasm and tenacity and a desire to succeed are essential.
