Martin started Henderson Brown in 2009 with extensive experience in the fresh and horticulture sectors having held Managing Director roles at Lingarden Flowers and The Greenery UK. His passion for the sectors led him to starting this successful and growing recruitment business which is built on the foundations of his and the company’s shared values.
Martin is still hands on and recruits Executive roles across the sector, in addition, he is heavily focused on growing the HB team.
In his spare time, he can be caught with a squash racket in hand or watching Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.
Jason started his recruitment career after completing an MSc at Teesside University and went onto work in London where he joined Hydrogen, an international recruitment firm.
Since joining Henderson Brown in 2013 he has gone on to lead and develop a successful team as Recruitment Director. Jason works closely with some of our large accounts and recruits across sectors while supporting our managers and consultants to reach their potential. He has a real understanding of our specialist markets and a drive to provide a superior service for our clients and candidates.
Outside of the office Jason plays Semi-Professional football and has previously played 41 times for England Futsal.
Matt joined Henderson Brown after a successful period of recruiting in Peterborough and Cambridge in September 2020. He has been in the world of recruitment for over 5 years recruiting trades & labour and later facilities and maintenance.
He has worked in the facilities and maintenance sector his entire working life starting as a painter and decorator within the NHS and moving onto being a multi-trader in the care industry before taking the step into recruitment. So he knows what he is talking about!
Outside of work he is normally found in the gym, watching movies or binge watching boxsets, he loves to watch and play all sports especially Football, Basketball and American Football.
Amy-Jayne has over 15 years of experience in the recruitment industry and joined Henderson Brown in January 2021. Amy-Jayne specialises within the Commercial sector and has worked both temporary and permanent roles throughout her career. She builds strong relationships and has a sound ability to understand her client’s needs.
Outside of work, Amy-Jayne enjoys football, trips to the theatre and long strolls in the countryside.
Sam joined Henderson Brown in June 2020 after spending 5 years recruiting in the world of IT for both Reed and The One Group.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the IT and Development sector, Sam heads up the IT recruitment function for Henderson Brown. Bringing his expertise in recruitment of Data, Projects, Infrastructure and Development, he provides a fully comprehensive service for our Technology led clients.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys running, spending time with his 3 children and his favourite pastime.. Music, and playing guitar!
Alex joined Henderson Brown in November 2014 after spending 8 years recruiting into the food manufacturing industries for another business.
With a wealth of knowledge and experience of the food and fresh produce sector, Alex leads the Technical, Quality and Hygiene team at Henderson Brown as Recruitment Manager.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys keeping fit (running), spending time with his family and socialising with friends. In his younger years, Alex raced karts at a national and international level. (He once beat Lewis Hamilton!).
Will, a graduate in Law with Business, joined us having been keen to develop a career in recruitment after spending a short time working in retail.
He has become a valued member of the Operations team and is building a network of clients and candidates across the sector.
Will is a keen footballer having represented the Rippingale Rovers at u18 level. He is also a big Crystal Palace fan and dreams that one day a trophy will come around again…
Natalie joined Henderson Brown in February 2019. She brings over 8 years’ experience in Administration, having previously worked for some large companies within the Finance sector.
Her role at Henderson Brown involves, HR, Finance, Marketing and Administration Management.
Outside of work, Natalie enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She crams all this in around her CIPD Level 5 training!
Danny joined Henderson Brown in 2012 as an apprentice after studying Business Management at College.
8 years on, and he is now the Resourcing Manager- specialising in candidate sourcing. Danny’s detail and candidate networks underpin our assignments. He has a unique skill of uncovering hard to find candidates and providing relevant and accurate candidates to each project.
Outside of work, Danny loves his football, and often regrets supporting Arsenal!
Previously working for many years in Hospitality Management, Rob now has 7 years of recruitment experience across various sectors. He Joined Henderson Brown in November 2020 to recruit Sales and Marketing professionals with his main focus being in FMCG.
In Rob’s spare time he can be found swimming, walking his dog, entertaining his 2 children and permanently suffering as a QPR fan!
Bethany joined Henderson Brown in November 2021 after a successful 4 years recruiting permanent positions across both commercial and manufacturing industries.
With sound knowledge across the manufacturing sector, Bethany has a firm interest in Engineering and is able to successfully match complex skill sets with clients specific requirements.
Fun loving, attentive and down to earth, both new and existing clients are in capable hands as Bethany offers an honest and consultative recruitment approach.
In her downtime, you’ll find Bethany walking her beloved Frenchie, exploring new cuisines and local restaurants as well as enjoying the occasional cocktail or glass of champagne!
Lee joined us having been keen to develop a career in recruitment after a successful career in The Army serving 2 tours of Afghanistan, becoming the Master Personal Trainer for Virgin Active, and running his own Nutritionist company.
Lee leverages strong interpersonal communication skills for building and maintaining long-term professional relationships with clients, candidates, and stakeholders alike. Well suited to work under pressure and deliver a superior service. A professional with rich knowledge, well-prepared to excel in the challenging role as one of our Recruitment Consultants.
Outside of work Lee enjoys the gym, socialising with friends, and winding down to a movie or series.
Samantha joined Henderson Brown in November 2021 with 7 years’ recruitment experience across both commercial and FMCG sectors. Sam specialises in placing high calibre HR professional into businesses across a variety of sectors and specialisms.
In her spare time, Sam is run off her feet being a mum to her one-year-old son and also her sausage dog Marley. During her more relaxed spare time, you can catch Sam either binging some awful-but-great reality series, trying out new restaurants, or enjoying a pink gin with her friends.
Following various roles, including time in insurance, Chloe decided to pursue her passion to develop a career in recruitment and joined Henderson Brown in October 2021. Chloe is currently working within the Henderson Brown Commercial team.
Outside of work Chloe enjoys going to the gym, walking her dogs, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Andrea spent over 10 years working in commercial roles before perusing her career in recruitment at HB Commercial, Andrea now looks after Finance roles from Ledger Clerks to Finance Managers. After a career break to travel the outback of Australia, Andrea realised her passions lay in people and developing professional relationships.
Outside of recruitment Andrea enjoys a pampered spa day and travelling, having been to several of her ‘bucket list’ countries.
