Martin started Henderson Brown in 2009 with extensive experience in the fresh and horticulture sectors having held Managing Director roles at Lingarden Flowers and The Greenery UK. His passion for the sectors led him to starting this successful and growing recruitment business which is built on the foundations of his and the company’s shared values.

Martin is still hands on and recruits Executive roles across the sector, in addition, he is heavily focused on growing the HB team.

In his spare time, he can be caught with a squash racket in hand or watching Leicester Tigers at Welford Road.

Jason started his recruitment career after completing an MSc at Teesside University and went onto work in London where he joined Hydrogen, an international recruitment firm.

Since joining Henderson Brown in 2013 he has gone on to lead and develop a successful team as Recruitment Director. Jason works closely with some of our large accounts and recruits across sectors while supporting our managers and consultants to reach their potential. He has a real understanding of our specialist markets and a drive to provide a superior service for our clients and candidates.

Outside of the office Jason plays Semi-Professional football and has previously played 41 times for England Futsal.

Will, a graduate in Law with Business, joined us having been keen to develop a career in recruitment after spending a short time working in retail.

He has become a valued member of the Operations team and is building a network of clients and candidates across the sector.

Will is a keen footballer having represented the Rippingale Rovers at u18 level. He is also a big Crystal Palace fan and dreams that one day a trophy will come around again…

Bethany joined Henderson Brown in November 2021 after a successful 4 years recruiting permanent positions across both commercial and manufacturing industries.

With sound knowledge across the manufacturing sector, Bethany has a firm interest in Engineering and is able to successfully match complex skill sets with clients specific requirements.

Fun loving, attentive and down to earth, both new and existing clients are in capable hands as Bethany offers an honest and consultative recruitment approach.

In her downtime, you’ll find Bethany walking her beloved Frenchie, exploring new cuisines and local restaurants as well as enjoying the occasional cocktail or glass of champagne!

Lee joined us having been keen to develop a career in recruitment after a successful career in The Army serving 2 tours of Afghanistan, becoming the Master Personal Trainer for Virgin Active, and running his own Nutritionist company.

Lee leverages strong interpersonal communication skills for building and maintaining long-term professional relationships with clients, candidates, and stakeholders alike. Well suited to work under pressure and deliver a superior service. A professional with rich knowledge, well-prepared to excel in the challenging role as one of our Recruitment Consultants.

Outside of work Lee enjoys the gym, socialising with friends, and winding down to a movie or series.

James joined Henderson Brown in July 2022. After graduating with an MSc at The University of Winchester, James went on to join the British Army. Having left in 2021 James embarked on a career in recruitment specialising in the Commercial sector. James’s spare time focuses on his family and playing field hockey locally, having played in the English National League across the country previously.

Jeannette joined Henderson Brown in June 2022. A fully qualified HR professional (PGDip HRM) with over 16 years’ experience in the Recruitment Industry working in the back office at several Recruitment Agencies dealing with the Administration, Finance, HR, IT, Marketing and Payroll. Always an avid learner she has also completed both a Certificate and Diploma in Business Studies and a Professional Diploma in Marketing. Outside of work, Jeannette enjoys reading, gardening, going for long walks and spending time with her family and friends.

Will joined the Henderson Brown team in October 2022. Will has over two years of previous recruitment experience where he recruited into the rail sector with on-track staff. After two years in the rental market, Will decided to return to recruitment and pursue a successful career with Henderson Brown where he has settled into the Technical, Quality and Hygiene team.

Outside of work, Will enjoys socialising with friends and family and is well invested in golf, rugby and football. His Cocker Spaniel puppy, Murphy, keeps him on his toes at home and drags Will and his partner out for lots of walks.

Duke is a Psychology graduate who has recently joined HB Commercial after graduating from De Montfort University in 2021. Originally starting work as a care assistant, Duke joined HB Commercial looking for an exciting new challenge in the world of recruitment. Since joining Duke has developed his knowledge of recruitment and has joined the Engineering sector of Henderson Brown.

Incorporating his customer service experience from previous roles, Duke is currently learning a lot about his specialist markets and is keen to provide a personalised service as well as build a lot of connections in his sector.

Outside of work, Duke enjoys going to the gym, socialising with his friends and family, and is a fan of Chelsea Football Club. In his younger years, Duke used to compete in Athletics. He once used to compete with Norwich’s right back Max Aarons!
