Salary range: £50,000-£60,000
Our client is one of the success stories within the food industry and as a result of continued expansion they are looking to appoint an HR Business Partner, to be involved in the day to day running of the HR function at their site in Gloucestershire. The HRBP will work closely with their partners and implement HR strategy accordingly. The role will report directly to the Group HR Director with dotted line reporting to the divisional MD’s.
The role will consist of essentially covering off four areas:
*To partner with leadership teams and Group HR to deliver a HR service in line with the needs of the business.
*To oversee the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives as detailed in the HR Business Plan or in response to specific unit level business requirements
*To translate business requirements into effective HR practices, delivering HR initiatives aligned to business objectives
*To work at an operational level with multiple stakeholders, ensuring a consistently compliant approach and the meeting of overall organisational strategic objectives
*To support the leadership team in planning, implementing and managing specific change programmes, ensuring that they provide a value adding service in all change management programmes.
*To audit and review structures as required and ensure that they are current, fit for purpose and consistent with company policies and procedures
*To review the work design within the units in response to changing needs and commercial agility requirements
*To assist in designing a job evaluation methodology
*To ensure that OD supports the overall talent development needs of the business
*To conduct regular audits of the organisational structure and recommends changes to meet overall organisational and market needs
*To support line managers in managing the talent profile within their businesses
*To identify trends and possible needs for intervention within the business and liaise with the leadership team and Training and Development forum to discuss appropriate initiatives
*To ensure tracking and recording of identified talent and associated initiatives are carried out.
*To contribute to the development of robust talent management processes including supporting the acquisition of talent as required.
*To support, develop and coach local people managers in relation to their approach and consideration of people issues, ensuring that they understand the impact of these on the individual and the business.
HR POLICY AND COMPLIANCE
*To provide professional HR advice and guidance, coaching and support to line managers and Directors, providing high level people management and development support
*To provide support in dealing with complex or sensitive day to day people management issues
*To review and continuously improve processes with a view to maximising efficiency and consistency
*To influence management and leadership around the people agenda and issues
*To support line management in transactional activities, including recruitment, performance management, transfer of employment in the event of merger/acquisition activity and reward processes
*To implement HR initiatives as agreed with group leadership
*To promote the use of HR systems policies and processes, challenging appropriately
