Commercial Business Accounts Manager
East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 dependent on experience
+Company Bonus, Death in service benefit, Critical illness cover, use of pool car for business purposes.

My client are looking for a new Account Manager to join their business and work on their FMCG offering in the UK, Ireland and internationally. They are looking for someone who is charismatic and works well with others. This person will work alongside a team of other Account Managers and Commercial colleagues. This person would help support the clients growth ambitions in the UK, Ireland and as well as other new markets and channels including online. This person would complement the existing team and have the potential to gradually take on more responsibility over time. The Commercial teams aim is to deliver profitable growth for both the Customer and The Client.
*Initially work alongside the Senior Account Manager who covers new business and one of the largest accounts and gradually look to take over new business development.
*Exploring opportunities for growth and managing new trials, supply relationships and accounts.
*Support the Senior Account Manager and National Customer Account Manager on projects and initiatives to develop knowledge and understanding of the Category.
*Developing business propositions that will be attractive to new customers and profitable for The Client, leveraging their expertise, supply chains and sourcing capabilities.
*Provide direction and strategic guidance to all Design, Technical, Packaging, and Commercial colleagues who may support on new business opportunities.
*Work with all the relevant business stakeholders, such as administration, operations, buying and finance to understand how they operate and could serve any potential new customers.
*Analysing the market to see where opportunities lie and how new business performs vs. internal KPIs and customer KPI’s.
*Inform, educate and present category insights and recommendations, developed on robust data analysis and/or research.
*Work with teams to then use your analysis to develop commercial proposals and persuasively present these to customer and then follow-though to make the ideas a commercial success.
*Make recommendations for the improvement of procedures, systems and processes, in relations with the customer and internally.
*Accountable for turnover, margins and budget delivery for any accounts managed or developed, as well as other customer KPIs.
*Update the business and senior management on Commercial activities and be available for meetings, when required.
*A self-starter who is independent, flexible, and dynamic to a business’s needs
