Our client is established organisation and known positively throughout their industry. They are known of low staff turnover and progression of staff internally. Due to an internal promotion and restructure, they are looking for an Associate to join them with the view of a fast-tracked progression to Senior Associate.
This is an ideal role for Semi-Seniors and Senior within an Accountancy Practice who are wanting a clear, progressive path. Reporting directly into the Partners, your role and duties will include:
-Involvement in planning of assignments and allocating/delegating tasks to junior members of the team
-Review of financial statements prepared by trainees/analysts
-Effective provision of tax planning advice to clients
-Preparation of financial statements for FRS 102 and more complex FRS 102 companies and groups
-Supporting senior associates and partners with special work as required including company valuations, tax planning and HMRC queries
Obviously, these are just a few duties within the role, a full and detailed job spec is available.
The ideal candidate with have experience working within an Accountancy Practice at a Supervisory or Semi-Senior as a minimum. ACA/ACCA Qualifications are an essential, but if you’re a finalist? It’s still worth having a chat.
