I’m hiring for an Ingredients Category Manager in a global FMCG company.

My client is a global FMCG business that has earned a reputation for providing quality products to consumers sourced from regions across the United Kingdom and the globe with its diverse portfolio of food brands. The company is highly regarded due to its winning combination of industry knowledge and experience coupled with continuous innovation that anticipates future customer trends and demands.
Role:
The Ingredients Category Manager will oversee procurement for all Ingredient spends across multiple sites. Work closely with stakeholders to deliver objectives including cost reduction targets and competitive advantages. Develop an in depth understanding of sub categories, markets, suppliers, cost drivers and cost structure, and supplier innovation opportunities.
Key categories including; Sugar, Glucose, Chocolate, Starch, Flour and other ingredients
Salary & Working Setup:
– Circa £60,000 – £70,000 depending on candidate experience
– Remote based at home 4 days per week with 1 day in the office – ideally in Yorkshire or Norfolk
Experience Required:
– Bluechip FMCG background
– Senior Ingredients experience
– Degree educated
