Role: Factory Manager

This is a very exciting opportunity for a Factory Manager with a proven track record to join an impressive food manufacturing company. You will need to provide leadership and direction to the management team, encouraging ownership and accountability.
You will be managing a cross-functional team in delivering site objectives and KPIs through operations, planning, production, supply chain, engineering, product development and technical. This will require you to bring energy and motivate your team progress the manufacturing unit to the next level.
In your team, you will need to implement a site improvement plan and process to drive continuous and sustainable performance. You will need to be at forefront of CI projects to make them a success. This role will test your man management, planning, and organisational skills and will test your strategic thinking to keep ahead of your competitors.
Ideal Candidate:
*Experience in a Factory Manager, General Manager or similar role in a complex food manufacturing company, demonstrating a track record of high performing sites.
*Very analytical in their work and a great financial awareness to manage the P&L budget.
*A strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and third-party audits.
*Excellent communication skills to develop strong relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
*Can demonstrate delivery of continuous improvement projects and utilising Lean principles.
