Position – Commercial Manager
Salary – Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Benefits – 6% Matched Pension and Bonus

Our client is a successful and well-known food manufacturer with many awards for innovation and development in their sector. They are looking to strengthen their commercial team by appointing a Commercial Manager to help support some of their strongest categories.
Reporting into the Commercial Controller and Head of Commercial, you will be responsible alongside them in ensuring that company profitability, customer requirements and individual growth targets are met with the retail customers. You will be tasked with fully understanding the category by developing an insight into the numbers and the strategic intent of the customers. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining individual customer account plans which identify key activities and priorities in line with company strategic objectives, and thereby maximise profitability.
Key Criteria.
*Previous experience in an Account Management role in the food industry is a must.
*Previous Account management experience with large multiple retailers is required.
*Develops internal working relationships across the functions to ensure commercial delivery.
*Would suite a Self-starter who is used to using their initiative.
*Happy working autonomously & a big team player.
*Passionate about commercial & food innovation.
*Confident but humble in front of customers.
*Degree educated preferable but not essential.
*Strong communication skills with experience of dealing with customers.
*Analytical and good with data including, Sales data, Market data, Benchmarking, Joint business plans, P&L Management, and forecasting
*Confident at generating and presenting reports.
*Lead the categories daily and input and support into category strategy.
*Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
