Our client, a significant player in the Fresh Produce Sector, is looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Commercial Director to set the commercial strategy and develop and lead the commercial team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be accountable for managing relationships at a senior level, delivering the commercial strategy and driving profitable growth across the business. In order to maximise the potential of the business we need candidates to be strategic in outlook, creative in thinking and pragmatic and hungry in their approach.
Who we’re looking for….
We are looking for someone with senior commercial experience who has a successful track record of dealing with the major multiples; someone who can forge relationships at a senior level and someone who has managed a commercial team before. Ideally, you will have fresh produce or short shelf life food sales experience, however, someone with food manufacturing or FMCG could be equally desirable. With strong commercial knowledge and understanding, you will be a determined and motivated individual who is driven by results and who has a natural inclination to sell.
The salary is negotiable dependent upon experience but includes a significant basic salary and strong, performance driven bonus + benefits.
Location: Central England based, with flexible working and travel to customers.
