Role: Account Manager
We are working on behalf of a reputable and continually growing horticulture business based in Lincolnshire. Dealing with one of their major accounts, they are on the lookout for an Account Manager to deliver the customer relationship. The category is fast moving and with a variety of products, so being adaptive and dynamic is key to meeting the major retailer’s needs.
*Managing seasons with maximum probability and ensuring product goes out as planned.
*Planning future seasons so that all elements before launch.
*Developing strong relationships with the suppliers and buyers.
*Managing the account on a daily basis with buyers and answering any queries or work that needs to be completed by deadline.
*Costing proposed lines.
*Working as a team and communicating across departments so that all parts of the business know what expectations need to be met.
*Understanding varieties of plants and seeing the gaps in the market that we can fulfil.
*Proficient in understanding profit, targets and forecasting.
*Developing new lines alongside NPD.
*Attention to detail
*Willingness to learn and to pick up a range of tasks.
*Decision making skills
*Excel and word processing proficient
*Communication and time management skills
