Location – Spalding, Lincolnshire
This is an ideal opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with a good skill level in both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines who likes to enjoys working during the twilight hours. My client is looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual who is comfortable working under minimal supervision to work a permanent night shift at their production facility in Lincolnshire.
Reporting in to the Engineering Manager you will proactively work to reduce downtime and strive to improve plant performance and efficiency. As Night Shift Engineer you will respond to any breakdowns provide a high level of Engineering Services and technical support to the business.
Your main responsibilities will be;
Undertaking PPM and condition monitoring for key equipment & machinery across the manufacturing areas.
Assisting as required with improvement and capital expenditure programs.
Providing a timely response to breakdowns within the manufacturing areas, ensuring that equipment “down time” is kept to a minimum.
Carrying out maintenance in accordance with H&S.
Providing support with additional maintenance tasks across the site as and when requested.
The ideal Engineer for this position will have the following skills/qualifications;
*Time served apprenticeship
*Electrical/Mechanical qualifications from a recognised body
*NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds Level 3
*PLC experience i.e. fault finding (desirable)
