Steven Henderson
Steven is a seasoned recruiter with 19 years experience in all aspects of food and fresh produce recruitment, from headhunting to advertised and database recruitment. He has been involved in Fresh Food and Horticulture for the last 8 years and has an intimate understanding of the fresh produce and food recruitment market.
Martin Brown
Martin has held various senior positions in both Horticulture and Fresh Produce and has experience recruiting new teams for various roles from a' client's perspective' so understands what a client is looking for in a good food recruitment business.
Liz Orpwood
Liz has over 14 years recruitment experience working within technical recruitment. This has included successfully recruiting for a broad range of roles from operations through to sales, maintenance, production and improvement at all salary levels. With an enthusiastic and professional approach, she looks to continually develop successful long term relationships and deliver excellent service to all.
Peter Fry
Peter Fry joined Tesco in 1986 and enjoyed various roles within the buying team, culminating in seven years as UK produce buying director. A move into the international department saw Peter supporting Tesco’s global buying and retail operations, before he returned to the UK with a brief to improve the quality of produce for Tesco customers. In 2008 Peter began his own business consultancy which saw him working with many of the fresh produce suppliers to the major multiples.
In his new position at Henderson Brown, Peter will be involved in business development and client relationship management. He brings him a wealth of experience and market knowledge.
Charlie Palmer-Bester
Charlie has over 10 years’ experience within the fresh produce and horticulture industry. He has worked in varied roles including account management, business development and sales positions.
He brings a fresh perspective to Henderson Brown and hopes to utilise his ‘hands on’ experience into building relationships with both clients and candidates.
Our New Office
We are now based in Lynch Wood, Peterborough, and welcome candidates and clients alike for meetings and visits and are happy to 'host' interview days for clients who require a 'neutral' venue. For those that have visited the Fresh Produce Consortium, we're upstairs!.
